These Terms govern use of Echo Storybooks (also localized as こだま絵本 and 回声绘本, the “App”). By downloading, purchasing, or allowing a child to use the App, the parent or guardian agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Policy for themselves and the child they supervise.
Parent or guardian supervision
A minor may use the App only with a parent’s or guardian’s permission and supervision. The adult is responsible for device access, listening volume, screen time, purchases, and deciding whether speech recognition is appropriate.
License and content
We grant a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App and its picture-book content on supported devices. Unless permitted by law or in writing, users may not copy, sell, publicly distribute, scrape, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, or use the content to train models or create commercial products. All App, illustration, story, narration, and software rights remain with their respective owners.
Subscriptions and purchases
Some books may be free and others require a subscription or purchase. The in-App purchase screen shows the applicable price, period, trial, and access before confirmation. Apple processes iOS purchases. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless cancelled through the Apple account settings before the end of the current period. Billing, cancellation, refunds, and family sharing are governed by Apple’s applicable terms. The App provides controls to restore purchases and manage subscriptions.
Learning feedback
Speech-recognition results and stars are encouraging practice feedback. They may be affected by accent, noise, device, network, or platform recognition behavior. They are not an exam, diagnosis, speech-therapy service, or professional educational assessment.
Availability and updates
The App downloads and caches story content. Features, compatible systems, and available books may change. We work to keep the service available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted downloads, permanent availability of every title, or perfectly accurate recognition. Material paid-access changes will be handled consistently with applicable store and consumer rules.
Acceptable use
Users must not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, redistribute protected content, or use the App unlawfully. We may limit service where necessary to protect the App, its content, users, or legal rights.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available.” Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Where liability may be limited, it is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Apple terms
For an iOS download, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies unless App Store Connect specifies another valid EULA. If these Terms conflict with mandatory Apple terms, the mandatory terms control for that issue.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms for legal, security, or product changes and will update the effective date. Continued use after an effective update indicates acceptance where permitted by law. Contact: enzlpcp1@gmail.com.
